Assisting churches to start new congregations is a major priority for Tarrant Baptist Association. Not only do we work with potential church starters, but with potential church sponsors and co-sponsors.

We provide numerous tools to assist you as you feel God leading you to start, sponsor or support a new church.

Assessment Processes:
To provide an evaluative preparation process for potential church starters.
To evaluate calling, giftedness, personality
To clarify strengths and weaknesses

Evaluation Processes:
To monitor growth/progress
To encourage needed midcourse corrections
To make funding commitments
To clarify goals and to apply accountability

Coaching Processes: 
To impart personal value to the starter. 
To aid in the processes of doing a quality church start.
(Evaluation, immediate planning, longer-term planning, accountability)

Funding Processes:
To address financial costs
To evaluate giving and spending
To purposefully wean the start from outside dependency
To teach Christian stewardship

Sponsorship Processes:
To support new starts
To provide ministry/missions opportunity for the Sponsor Church
To invest in Kingdom work outside their walls

Networking Processes:
To encourage Church Start support networking with starters, churches, associations, state conventions, convention entities, and church starting networks to aid in the success of the new church starts.
